The never-ending saga of the not properly working ‘like’ button popped up again this morning. Big thanks to Dennis, who pointed it out and helped me dig into it a little more. And guess what? We finally found the culprit.

After some more troubleshooting, I have concluded that there is no simple workaround to make the current plugin work in the setup and with the features I want. The solution? I decided to dump the the current plugin and have now switched to a different one. Please give it a spin and a thorough test, and let me know if you notice any issues or anything that does not quite look right. It should work reliably now—fingers crossed!

The downside? All previous ‘likes’ were reset, so we are starting with a clean slate again. No ‘likes’ anymore right now. All your previous clicks were reset. 😢. So please knock yourself out—go back in, hit that ‘like’ button again for all the entries you really like. Let’s see if we get the numbers back up.
