Sailing the Florida Keys wasn’t only a scenic escape. It was a masterclass in courage and self-confidence.
From St. Petersburg through the Everglades and the Keys, and up to the Chesapeake Bay, we navigated unfamiliar waters, made real-time decisions, and trusted our instincts. It reminded me of the very essence of my previous job in research and science: stepping into the unknown, asking bold questions, and forging ahead off the beaten path.
Clear water and quiet mornings were beautiful, yes. But it was the act of exploring, adapting, and believing in our ability to handle the unexpected that made this journey unforgettable.
Whether on a boat or in a research lab, confidence and courage are the wind in your sails.
