Greetings from our frozen northern exile! The countdown to our Florida escape is on, and we could not be more excited to swap snow boots for boat shoes. Sure, we are eager to ditch the snow and freezing temps for Florida’s… well, somewhat less freezing but still shiver-worthy weather. More importantly, we are very much looking forward to spend the next two weeks living our best boat life. Our plan is ambitious: living aboard for a few days, sailing often, and turning the boat inside out for a full systems check—nothing quite says “vacation” like an oil change, right? Between the engine tinkering, software updates, and trying not to drown in a sea of to-dos, we hope to find time to actually sail. And hey, if that Florida cold will not move out in time, there is always iceboat sailing… Now, I need to get back to packing—all that boat stuff somehow needs to fit into this suitcase!
