S/V Koko has officially set sail into the digital seas of Bluesky Social. That’s right, Koko is now charting new waters in the social media realm. And guess what? You can find us under the splendid username @svkoko.com. Yep, our username is verified by domain name—because who has time for that blue checkmark nonsense? Come…

Hey everyone, just a quick note: if you have noticed some oddball glitches on the blog lately—or perhaps a missing ‘Like’ button that went on vacation without telling anyone—that is on me. My sister recently sent us a link to a video about the comedic genius Robin Williams meeting Koko. Two legends from different worlds joining forces. Had a very curious and furry little helper this afternoon while plotting the course for the next leg of our sailing journey: Benny—Jenny and Gabe’s kitten who came visiting us over the holidays—took his role as my assistant very seriously. His contributions included swatting at the cruising guide, pouncing on the iPad, and napping on…

As we prepare for our upcoming cruise along the Gulf Coast and the East Coast of the US, we will face an interesting decision each day: should we go inside or outside? Going inside means traveling along the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW), a protected route that winds through rivers, bays, and canals parallel to the coastline….
